Green Concern for Development (GREENCODE) was founded by Comrade Edem Edem in collaboration with other youths from the area as a youth based NGO, called Abgremo for Development in 1997. Over the years the organisation has grown and engaged with other development partners.

Background:
As part of the Integrated Lifesaving Assistance Project supported by BHA through Save the Children International, GREENCODE is engaging community-level actors to foster inclusion and awareness through structured activities.
We are looking for 20 energetic and community-oriented Animators to support our outreach and engagement efforts in Nganzai LGA.
Job Purpose:
- Engage with children and communities through recreational, educational, and awareness activities to promote protection and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct interactive sessions with children and youth.
- Use storytelling, games, and theatre to pass protection messages.
- Support awareness raising and sensitization events.
- Report on child protection concerns observed during activities.
Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in education, psychology, or related field.
- Experience working with children in community settings.
- Creative and energetic with good facilitation skills.
- Basic knowledge of child protection principles.
- Fluency in local languages (Hausa/Kanuri) is essential; basic English is an advantage.
- Willingness to reside in Nganzai for the project duration.
