About: Action Against Hunger
Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger in the world. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been the basis of its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, in particular during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health – Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection – Food Safety and Ways of Existence – Water, Health, Sanitation and Hygiene – Advocacy. Mission 1 :
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in communicating our research projects.
How about creating impactful project sheets and infographics on Canva (or any other software)?
– You will also be involved with· in the organization of face-to-face events to share the results of our research with our headquarters teams.
you will also have the mission to manage our library of resources and participate in the dissemination of our research strategy.
And why not put the finishing touches by contributing to the Final Report of Research & Analysis & Learning Activities?
Mission 2:
Get ready to be at the heart of the action by leading the department’s speeches and communications on our various ACF sites!
as an intern, you will be responsible for monitoring the migration of the R4NUT conference site on the ACF site and ensuring its proper functioning.
you will also have the opportunity to animate the research community on Workplace (the ACF intranet) and to collaborate closely with the communication department for a better visibility of our research.
Mission 3:
Actively participate in the deployment of our learning strategy and toolkit!
– You will be involved in the definition of a dissemination plan for the strategy and the toolbox, as well as in its implementation monitoring.
you will also have the opportunity to prepare presentations for our webinars and adapt the existing tools in the toolbox, or even create new ones if necessary.
in addition, you will provide methodological support to the field teams and support them in the implementation of their learning activities.
And don’t forget, your feedback will be valuable during our satisfaction survey with the users of the toolbox!
Profile :
We are looking for a dynamic and versatile profile for the role of a· Communication Assistant – Expertise & Advocacy.
The ideal· candidate has the following characteristics :
– In preparation for a higher education of Bac +4/5 in School of Commerce, Communication, Advertising, Political Science, Humanitarian Master, International Relations, or related field, etc, with a strong interest in the humanitarian field.
strong analytical and synthesis skills, as well as a mastery of communication techniques.
intellectual curiosity and creativity to offer innovative solutions.
– Rigor and autonomy in the work, with an ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
excellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to express oneself clearly and persuasively.
advanced command of the Office pack and social media, with the ability to use these tools effectively in a professional context.
fluent command of English is essential, both in writing and orally, to communicate effectively in an international environment.
Employment conditions
Obligatory condition : Have an internship agreement issued by a school under French law
Duration of the internship: 6 months
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Salary Conditions :
Internship compensated up to the minimum legal hourly gratuity (on a basis of 35 hours per week)
21 Days of RTT (extended to the time of presence in the organization)
Days of absence for examination, university research, etc.
Transport : Support at 50% of the package between the home and the workplace
Restaurant vouchers : Supported at 60% by the association for a value of 8euros
175euros/year (social works) and discount on cinema tickets
Teleworking : Open to all·s and from the metropolitan territory, our teleworking policy defines the activities of the position requiring an imperative time of presence at the headquarters of the association, including, and allows you to choose to fully or partially exercise the rest of that time in telecommuting. For this purpose, it has been defined for this position a mandatory presence at the headquarters of 2 consecutive days per week minimum. Attendance times at headquarters will also be dedicated to collective sharing: 3 days per month on average for meetings and collective events.
