Background
Concern for Women and Children Development Foundation (COWACDI) is a woman- led organization born out of passion for the well-being of Women and Children in Nigeria. It is a dynamic and impactful NGO committed to providing humanitarian aid and support to vulnerable communities around the world. With a focus on empowering individuals and fostering sustainable development, we strive to make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of those in need. COWACDI has zero tolerance to fraud and other related practices. It has a special interest in mitigating the suffering of the vulnerable persons (mostly Women & Children) in times of crisis. Currently the organization has focused its attention on the Northeast of Nigeria with special emphasis in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states (the BAY states) due to the 14 years old crises. COWACDI intervenes through community-based approach in addressing Gender-Based Violence prevention and response programmes, child protection, peace-building programmes and empowerment of youth and women. Since its establishment in 2005 has been implementing humanitarian and developmental interventions in Protection, Peace Building, Housing Land & Property (HLP), Non-food Items (NFI), Livelihood.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:

About the Role:
Supports the implementation and strengthening of mechanisms for collecting and responding to community feedback and complaints.
Responsibilities:
- Operating feedback channels (like hotlines), recording and categorizing community feedback and complaints, and ensuring confidentiality.
- Collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing community feedback to identify trends and patterns, and reporting these findings to relevant teams.
- Liaising between communities and the organization to ensure information about services and issues flows effectively in both directions.
- Contributing to reports, background papers, and other documents that highlight program outcomes and lessons learned.
- Communicating with internal and external partners to update databases, coordinate information, and support various programs.
- Assisting with needs assessments, monitoring project implementation, and participating in discussions on project successes and challenges
Additional Tasks
- Frequent travel within the community or assigned area
Qualifications:
- BSc or HND in fields such as social sciences, international relations, public administration, project management, or a related field is often required, or related disciplines. Additional certifications in M&E (like PMP, Logical Frameworks, or specific M&E courses) can boost skills and marketability.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation is crucial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with diverse communities and preparing reports.
- A demonstrated passion for humanitarian issues and a commitment to principles of accountability is vital.
- Experience with standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools is beneficial.
- Fluency in English is generally required, with proficiency in other local languages like (Hausa, Kanuri,Shuwa etc) being an advantage
- Must be below 30 years
- Must have completed NYSC
Desirable Skills/Quality:
- Proficiency in M&E tools, software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Tableau).
