Terms of Reference (ToR) for Development of PAWEN SEO-Optimized Website At Pan African Women Empowerment Network (PAWEN)

Introduction

The Pan African Women Empowerment Network (PAWEN) is dedicated to advancing gender equality through education and empowerment. Our mission is to provide African women with the skills, confidence, and networks necessary for success in their professional and entrepreneurial endeavors.

Objective

PAWEN seeks a vendor to develop an SEO-optimized website that reflects the essence of our organization. The website should be visually appealing, feature compelling and impactful content, and be integrated with Google Analytics for detailed data analysis and insights.

Scope of Work

The selected vendor will be responsible for the following tasks:

Website Design and Development

  1. Create a visually appealing and user-friendly website.
  2. Ensure the website design aligns with PAWEN’s branding and mission.
  3. Develop a responsive design that works across various devices (desktops, tablets, mobile phones).

Copywriting

  1. Creative branding and communication of PAWEN’s corporate objectives, programs, and impact.
  2. Ensure content is engaging, informative, and accessible.
  3. Incorporate PAWEN’s mission, vision, and values into the content.
  4. Ensure content is engaging, informative, and accessible.

SEO Optimization

  1. Implement comprehensive SEO strategies to enhance the website’s visibility on search engines.
  2. Conduct keyword research and integrate relevant keywords into the website content.
  3. Optimize meta descriptions, titles, tags, and images for SEO.

Google Analytics Integration

  1. Review and integrate our current Google Analytics setup into the website for data collection and analysis.
  2. Set up goals and events to track user interactions and website performance.

Deliverables

The selected vendor will deliver the following:

  1. A fully functional and SEO-optimized website.
  2. Written content that effectively communicates PAWEN’s mission and values.
  3. Documentation of SEO practices implemented.
  4. Google Analytics setup and initial data report.
  5. Training materials or sessions on Google Analytics usage.

Timeline
