Requirements
- NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education) – minimum professional teaching qualification for Basic Education.
- B.Ed., B.A. (Ed.), B.Sc.(Ed.) or equivalent education Degree preferred.
- Graduates in relevant subjects may apply where they possess PGDE / PDE or another recognised teaching qualification.
- Relevant subject specialisation for JSS teaching.
- TRCN registration / licence required or strongly preferred, with applicable professional registration requirements.
- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian Basic Education Curriculum and effective classroom practice.
- Good communication, classroom management, assessment and child-centred teaching skills.
- Relevant teaching experience is an advantage.
